What Pape Collects
Nothing. Pape is a fully local macOS application. It does not collect, transmit, or upload any personal data, usage analytics, telemetry, crash reports, identifiers, or device information to Coding Crazy or any third party.
What Pape Stores On Your Mac
Pape stores the following data locally in the app's sandbox container on your Mac:
- Your artist profile (legal name, stage name, IPI/CAE, PRO affiliation, publisher info, contact info you choose to enter)
- Your song catalog (titles, ISRCs, UPCs, ISWCs, BPM, key, duration, genre, release dates, and any metadata you enter)
- Writer and master credit splits per song
- Your collaborator list (names, IPI numbers, PRO affiliations, contact info you enter)
- Generated Schedule A and Split Sheet PDFs (only at file paths you choose via the system save panel)
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export, share, or back it up yourself.
Third-Party Services
Pape v0.1 does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or analytics providers. Future versions may offer optional integrations (e.g., distributor or PRO connections), and if they do, those integrations will be opt-in, clearly labeled, and require your explicit authorization.
Children's Privacy
Pape is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes To This Policy
If we ever change how Pape handles data, we'll update this policy and bump the effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the app and on this page.
